Have you seen the One-Page Test Plan Canvas?
It's a one-page document based on the popular Business Model Canvas . The creator, Prashant Hedge , designed this template to help with brainstorming and planning software testing.
The One-Page Test Plan Canvas is divided into several blocks.
The first block is "Product" which shifts your focus from 'technicalities' to the business impact of testing. It reminds you to understand the business goals of the product you are about to test and to think about the impact of your work.
It also elicits your answers to important questions like
Why are you testing?
What are your goals for the planned tests?
The next block is "Roles and Responsibilities". This is where you consider the individuals involved in the testing phase. Especially for test teams, this is where you define the responsibilities of each person in your team.
The "Impact Areas" block ensures that you ask one of the most important questions before testing a product:
"What can be the impact of this change?"
"What parts of this product will the feature(s) about to be tested have an impact on?"
By doing this you consider the potential impact of the changes or new features to be tested
We will continue with the rest of the template in upcoming issues. You can download the template here .

Performance testing without monitoring is like watching horror movies on the radio. You hear them scream but you don't know why. - Henrik Rexed
